Corruption Is My Name.
Synopsis :
This book is a fun-based (satirical) narration of corruption for all ages and especially to create awareness of this ‘problem’ amongst the younger generation. The book is excellent for people from all walks of life and can be used for research, teaching, discussion and debating amongst adults and even the teenagers so as to ultimately instill integrity in each and everyone of them. The book starts with the ‘lamentation’ (grievances) of Chris Dunhill (a fictional character) whose life, it appears, is both consumed as well as devastated by corruption and its effects; ‘Corruption’ assumes a ‘human’ role in the ‘Introduction’ to the book and describes in detail what corruption actually is and what will eventually happen to a person if the person is corrupted; The book then advances to its ‘core’ – ‘CASE STUDIES’. There are eight(6)‘Case Studies’ and each ‘Case Study’ give a different but interesting account of the experiences of Chris Dunhill with ‘corrupt’ people throughout his life. All the characters covered are fictional. The book then gives the causes and effects of corruption and the ways to tackle this ever-growing menace to society and the world at large; The book is a soft-cover, paper-back version (A5-sized). The cover is in colour while the pages inside the book are in black print. The book is currently in the English language and will soon be translated into the Malay Language, Mandarin, Tamil, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and other major languages to cater to the ‘global’ nature of this book.
