iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was released on September 19, 2014. These models are with larger 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays, a faster processor, upgraded cameras, improved LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, and support for a near-field communications-based mobile payments offering. The iPhone 6 line ships pre-loaded with iOS 8.

Oppo Phone N1

The N1 comes with a solid plastic build around an aluminum alloy frame, and we dig the silky matte finish that keeps fingerprints off the body. The O-Touch panel on the back is indicated by some tiny glossy marks, without which it'd be totally invisible. It took some getting used to in order to avoid accidental camera shots, as a one-second press on the panel triggers the shutter; but otherwise, we found the design to be very handy (literally!) and natural for taking selfies. And of course, O-Touch is also great for scrolling.

iPhone 5 Finally Here.

The New iPhone 5 is finally here. There are people waiting in long line to buy the iPhone 5.

What's New?

It is made entirely out of aluminum and glass. The screen on the iPhone 5 is, 4-inches in size with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen resolution has also been bumped up to 1136×640 so as to keep the Retina display (326PPI) tag intact.

The new A6 SoC powers the iPhone 5. Not only is it 22% smaller than A5, it is also two times faster. The A6 SoC consists of a dual-core Cortex-A15 SoC and an unnamed GPU, which according to Apple is 2x times faster than the GPU on the A5. Thanks to a bigger battery and the 32nm fab based A6 SoC, the phone  is capable of lasting 8 hours on LTE browsing with a standby time of 225 hours.

It runs on the new iOS 6.  The map application is not using Google Map anymore.

It use a Nano-SIM card.

 

The dock connector has also been replaced with a new, thinner and smaller variant, now known as Lighting. It is 80% smaller, has 8-signal design, is reversible and is completely digital.

Apple sells 3m iPads on opening weekend

SAN FRANCISCO: Apple announced on Monday that it sold three million of its new iPad tablet computers over the course of its first weekend on the market.
"The new iPad is a blockbuster with three million sold – the strongest iPad launch yet," said Apple senior vice-president of worldwide marketing Philip Schiller.
"Customers are loving the incredible new features of iPad... and we can't wait to get it into the hands of even more customers around the world this Friday."
The new iPad went on sale on Friday with Apple fans lining up from Sydney to San Francisco to snap up the latest model of the hot-selling tablet computer.
The new iPad is available in Australia, the United States, France, Canada, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Britain and Hong Kong. It will go on sale in another two dozen countries on March 23.

New Ipad (ipad 3)

The New Ipad was launched today worldwide. The main feature was that it can use the new 4G technolgy. It also have a better camera and display. The Display will be good for games. More to come

iPhone 4S 

It not even 8 days after the great icon passed away, Apple lauches the iPhone 4S.

What new is the A5 dual core processor. Apple says the A5 provides "up to two times the power and up to seven times faster graphics.

The Primary camera is better and also the secondary one. It now have bluetooth function, plus a digital compass now.  More talk time but less on the WIFI and standby time due to the new A5 dual core processor. And before I forget , it runing the new iOS 5.

I am very impress with Sony Erisson Xperia X10. But the trouble is wheather i can used to the sms or the business card receiving. Look cool but a tab bit small.

I heard that there are a few version. That even a mini pro. Then there is the arc version. Pricing is also not to expensive. Plus is an andriod os phone.

IPAD 2

Having a bad flu but still decided to go to the gym. First took the dog for its walk. Then went to the gym. I did 10 mins on the treadmill at 4.00. Then cyclying for 3km finish in 7:33mins. Are we going tomorrow. Yes.

Really working hard at the gym. Trying not to get injured. Focus on cardio first. Need to build up the stamina.

Have joined a gym at the beginning of the year 2011. Trying to lose weight and have some muscles. The Shock of the thing is the my weigh (97kg). Target to go to 86g.

New Genetic Clues for ADHD

Rare DNA Errors in ADHD Kids Linked to Brain-Development Genes

Sept. 29, 2010 -- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a brain disorder and not purely a behavioral problem, say the first researchers to identify rare genetic errors in ADHD kids.
People with ADHD have an unusually large number of "copy number variants" or CNVs -- chunks of DNA that are either missing or duplicated, says study researcher Anita Thapar, MD, professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at Cardiff University in Wales.
"These missing or duplicated chunks of DNA are in the areas of the chromosome that overlap with those implicated in autism and schizophrenia, [which are] established brain disorders," Thapar said at a news conference. "And we found that the most significant excess of these copy number variants was in a specific region ... that includes genes for brain development."
Thapar and colleagues analyzed genetic data from 366 children with ADHD ranging in age from 5 to 17 and from 1,047 matched children in the general population. They found that the kids with ADHD carried twice as many large CNVs.
This difference was even more pronounced in ADHD kids with intellectual disability. These children, with IQs of less than 70, had nearly six times more large CNVs than normal children. But regardless of intellectual disability, ADHD kids had significantly more large chunks of DNA that were missing and duplicated.

Complexity of ADHD

Because the findings don't identify a specific "ADHD gene," the kind of genetic analysis used in the study cannot be used as a test for ADHD.
"ADHD is a very complex disorder, which will have a number of different genetic factors involved, and also non-genetic, environmental factors. It is this combination that is the likely cause of ADHD," study researcher Kate Langley, PhD, a psychologist at Cardiff University, said at the news conference.
However, Thapar said the findings should be a great relief to parents and to people with ADHD who have been stigmatized by the disorder.
"There is a lot of misunderstanding about ADHD. Some say it is not a real disorder or that it is just the result of bad parenting," she said. "Our results show it should be considered a neurodevelopmental disorder like autism."
Indeed, kids with ADHD and kids with autism have some symptoms in common. This leads the researchers to suggest that there might be a biological link between the two disorders.
Thapar said that the study findings will spur more intensive research likely to uncover more specific information on the genetic factors that predispose a person to ADHD.
The study is reported in the Sept. 30 online issue of The Lancet.
